The Offinso College of Education (OFCE) management hosted an event to recognize its top level 100 and level 400 students. The ceremony was the third of its sort; similar ones were done in the previous semester for the levels 200 and 300 students.

There were awards given to 117 students in all. In a breakdown, there were forty-three (43) level 400 students and seventy-four (74) level 100 students in this group. Gloria Timah Sarkodie had a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.00, making her the best student overall from level 100.

Bismark Ekpe had a CGPA of 3.97 and was the top student in the level 400 division.

The Principal of the College, teaching and Non-teaching staff, National Service Personnel, Executives of the Students Representative Council, and Level 100 and 400 Students attended the ceremony. The College Principal noted in his welcoming speech that the Awards Scheme was designed to encourage all students to work diligently.

He continued by saying that the Scheme was also intended to motivate the recipients to continue working hard and being diligent in their academic pursuits so they might graduate from the college with a very good class at the conclusion of their four-year stay.
